The Aft Well Deck on C Deck was one of two well decks. The most prominent features are the cargo hatches that lead down to Hold #5 and Hold #6 and there were two cargo cranes attached to the sides of the Aft Second Class entrance. Passengers gathered here and on the Poop Deck during the ship's final moments.
It was used as a Third Class Promenade.

The aft well deck was blown off the ship when the stern hit the ocean floor, leaving D-Deck as the highest deck.
