Angelica Pickering is one of two main protagonists of the film, Titanic: The Legend Goes On, voiced by Lisa Russo.
Angelica is Jenny's daughter, Gertrude's stepdaughter, Bernice's and Hortense's stepsister, and William's eventual wife.
Plot[]
When Angelica's mother was forced to leave, she gave her a blue locket with her photo in it. Angelica was a poor young girl who was constantly abused and treated as a servant by Gertrude, Bernice, Hortense, and even their cat, Geoffrey. She dreamed of finding her parents, with the locket as a clue to her mother's identity.
She went to Titanic with Gertrude, Bernice, Hortense, and Geoffrey. On a train to Titanic, she looked at her locket, but Gertrude, Bernice and Hortense taunted her about her parents. On the pier, Angelica accidentally dropped her locket box because of Geoffrey and they met Jeremy, who picked it up and gave it to Bernice along with his card. She then threw the box back at Angelica. While picking up the box, Angelica met and befriended Maxie the mouse.
On the ship, Angelica became a Third Class passenger while Gertrude, Bernice, and Hortense became First Class. She met William in a chance encounter in a corridor and they both fell in love with each other. Victoria gave Angelica a suitable dress so she could attend the reception. Angelica came to the reception and met William. They danced to the song performed by Molly. Later Gertrude, Bernice, and Hortense confronted Angelica and William, but Maxie scared them off.
The ship hit an iceberg and started to sink. During the evacuation Angelica was placed in Lifeboat 6 that was commanded by the arrogant Quartermaster Robert Hichens with her fellow 3rd Class Cabin mate Victoria. On the morning of the 15th of April 1912 she was reunited with William on the rescue ship RMS Carpathia, a Cunard Line Ship that was sailed by Arthur Rostron and his crew when Harold Thomas Cottam responded to Titanics S.O.S distress signals in the Cape Race.
Trivia[]
- Angelica is apparently inspired by Disney's Cinderella and Rose from James Cameron's Titanic.
- Unlike Rose from Titanic, Angelica isn't initially wealthy and ultimately ends up marrying the male lead (Rose from Titanic does eventually marry someone else, but it's not Jack).
