The C02 Evaporator and Brine Pump Room was a room on the Orlop Deck above the reciprocating engine room. The brine had two sinks and two pumps to remove or add pickle brine from the room above. The C02 evaporator was only accessible via the catwalks in the Reciprocating Engine Room.
