Cabin B-58 was a large State Room located on the port side on B Deck. next to the famous Parlor Suites. The Cave List stated it was occupied by Quigg Edmond Baxter. However, the cave list was incorrect, he had the next-door cabin, B-60. His mother Helene Baxter occupied B-58, together with her daughter Mary Helene Douglas. She paid £244,10.5 for it. It was one of the 120 most luxurious cabins on Titanic.
Decorations:
B-58 was decorated in the style Louis XVI; therefore, it had a plain light green floor and two beds that were turquoise. It had a sofa and a sink, even a vanity table. There was a chandelier in the center and a table and chair. The walls were white paneling with golden panels in between. B-58 had its own bathroom, water closet, and wardrobe which was technically shared with B-60. It also had blue, yellow, and magenta stained-glass windows.
Popular Culture
The only popular culture representation was Curiosity: What Sank Titanic? It was seen once, when Helene was upset due to the engines having stopped. It was too plain and inaccurate.
