Rendition of cabin C-8, according to the latest demo by Titanic: Honor & Glory, taken from the vantage point of the door.
Cabin C-8 was one of Titanic's First Class staterooms forward on C-Deck. No one ever slept in the outward cabin, which was on port side against the bulkwark of the First Class era before the Forward Well Deck. This deck could be seen from C-8, as it had a decent size porthole looking out at the front. Another porthole would offer a view to the ocean.
With beds for two, the cabin had enough space and could even house a third person if the occupants decided to fold out the Pullman Berth that was situated on the wall. To get to C-8, one had to take the passageway afore from the Grand Staircase on portside and then take a left turn at the end. Neighbouring C-8 was cabin C-6. Opposite C-8 were C-10 and C-12.
