Wireless Operator

The Wireless Operators of the RMS Titanic and other ships that played an important role in the Titanic disaster. They were key in the communication between vessels. A wireless operater had a device which they could sent Morse coded messages through electronic sparks. They had a device which they needed to tap to bring the message through. The wireless machine was still a relatively new device, and the wireless operators became ever more important, because they could sent message from passengers to other people for a small fee. In case of an emergancy they were vital to reach out to other ships, in order to attract the attention and ask for assistance.
