Charlie is a Pomeranian owned by Hazel Foley. He first appeared and was introduced to Isabella Paradine by calling him "My baby Charlie".

Little is known about Charlie's early life, but he was adopted by Hazel Foley and taken by her to board the Titanic in Southampton with her family. Charlie is then introduced to Isabella Paradine, an old acquaintance of the Foley family, Hazel told Isabella that Charlie would always keep her company. It's likely that Hazel kept him in her cabin during the voyage.

During the sinking, Charlie was carried by Hazel Foley followed by Alden and Lulu to lifeboat 7. Initially, Charlie was rejected to entry by 5th Officer Lowe but was protested by Hazel, saying "I'm not gonna to leave my helpless dog on a sinking ship!". All of the Foleys family survived.
