Titanic's dog kennels were the location where passengers could have their personal dogs boarded during a voyage. The plans used in Limitation of Liability hearings after the sinking pinpoint the kennels on F-Deck, aft of the Third Class Galley. Due to discrepancies in the plans used during the hearings, as well as the architecture of the deckhouse and future location of the Olympic's kennels, some have theorised that they may rather have been present on the Boat Deck, aft of Funnel No. 4.

Out of the 12 dogs on Titanic, only 3 survived. They were:

  • Bebe: a Pomeranian purchased by First Class passenger Margaret Bechstein Hays, in Paris. During the fateful night, she took Bebe wrapped in a blanket with her aboard lifeboat 7.
  • Sun Yat Sen: a Pekingese belonging to First Class passengers Myra and Henry S. Harper, a publishing magnate. The couple and their dog were on lifeboat 3. Mr. Harper would later have said: “There seemed to be lots of room and nobody made any objection.”
  • Another Pomeranian, owned by Martin and Elizabeth Jane Rothschild. Mrs. Rothschild hid the dog until the following morning when those on lifeboat 6 were rescued by the RMS Carpathia. The crew initially refused to take the dog on board, but Mrs. Rothschild insisted.
