The Electric Machinery Center was located on the Tank Top and it was aft of the Turbine Room. This room was surround by 6 freshwater tanks on both the port and starboard side. It took the steam from the engines and use it to power the ship. If these engines failed for whatever reason then the emergency dynamos on D Deck would kick in. However, the emergency dynamos aren't that strong so the power would've been weaker than before.
Titanic's electrical plant was capable of producing more power than an average city power station of the time. Immediately aft of the turbine engine were four 400 kW steam-driven electric generators, used to provide electrical power to the ship, plus two 30 kW auxiliary generators for emergency use. Their location in the stern of the ship meant they remained operational until the last few minutes before the ship sank.
