The Carter's cabin allocations on the Cave List
Cabin B-96 was located on the port side on B Deck on the aft part, near the Restaurant. The Cave List states it was occupied by members of the Carter family. B-96 was occupied by Ms. Lucile Polk Carter and Master. William Jr. Their parents, Mr. William Ernest and Mrs. Lucile Carter were in the next stateroom, B-98.
B-96 was decorated in Harland and Wolff's Bedroom B style, with oak dado, white panels, and mahogany beds. It would have been the same decoration style as A-37 and A-36.
