The First Class Barber Shop was located on C Deck, just off the Aft Grand Staircase. This room was open between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. There was a barber, Augustus Weikman, permanently on staff who offered shampooing, shaving, and hairdressing services for 1 shilling (£5 in 2018) or $0.25 each. The room itself was installed with two swivel chairs, a marble counter top with two sinks, and leather-padded waiting bench.
The Barber Shop also offered small souvenirs and collectibles for purchase, including postcards, White Star branded trinkets, tobacco, dolls, penknives, and hats. The souvenirs could be purchased by passengers visiting the barber shop.
