G Deck or Lower Deck is the eighth deck down from the top, between F-Deck and the Orlop Deck. It contained the Squash racquet court, the Post Office, food freezers and coolers, baggage rooms, cargo hold, crew quarters, and some 3rd class rooms. Most of G-Deck began flooding 25 minutes after Titanic's collision with the iceberg. A large part of it was off-limits to passengers, although there were a few cabins at the bow and stern, as well at the bottom half of the Swimming Pool and the Squash Racquet Court. This deck was just 3 metres above the waterline.

*1 There was no G-13 Cabin because of superstition.
*2: The Third Class cabins are numbered throughout the ship, regardless of Deck. The Deck letter won't appear for the cabin number. This made the G-60 cabin that Jack and Fabrizio occupied with two Swedes in Titanic 1997 pure ficton for example, as they did get the Deck-label attached to the room's name, but even in Second Class the D-label only went up to 40. In this case, for some strange reason the #202 cabin ended up on the Aft F-Deck near number #200, whilst cabin #201 ended up here.
*3 For some reason the G-Deck Plans don't show a number #249
