Gaston is a main character in the movie, Titanic: The Legend Goes On, voiced by Jacques Stany.
Biography[]
Gaston was a Frenchman and womanizer who at some point met William and Jenny and became their servant and secretary. He went to Titanic with them.
Gaston arrived on the pier, saw Molly and tried to hit on her by complimenting her looks, however, he was instantly disliked and untrusted by Kate and her mate. Then he found and took Angelica's locket. Later, he went on the deck, saw Molly with Stockard and went to them. On the way, he was almost tripped by Flopsy. He approached Molly and Stockard and apologized to her for his behavior on the pier. Later, he met Molly and Stockard again, took her from him, much to his rage, and gave her Angelica's locket. Gaston attended the ball with William. During the ball, Molly approached him and told him that someone stole the locket. When Angelica arrived, Gaston approached her to try to hit on her, but saw the locket on her and anxiously looked at singing Molly. He initially wanted to do something about it and to try and return it to her, but William asked him to hush and left with Angelica. Then, after seeing them dance, Gaston realized how much they love each other and how happy they are together, and decided to leave them and let Angelica have her locket. He was happy for them and smiled while looking at them. However, Molly also noticed the locket on Angelica and was not so happy about it as she wanted it back. She looked at smiling Gaston and continued singing. Later, when Angelica and William left, she approached Gaston again and told him that Angelica stole the locket, however, he defended her and said that he doesn't think it's her. Then Stockard approached and told them that locket has returned to its rightful owner and that it was Gaston who stole it before giving Molly. Upon hearing this, Molly slapped Gaston and left, while Stockard looked at him and smiled snidely. Gaston followed her and tried to apologies, but she ignored him, returned on the stage and continued singing.
When the ship hit an iceberg and began sinking, and Molly decided to stay behind on the ship with her band and sing with them until the end, Gaston decided to stay by her side for as long as he can, remained on the ship, and proudly stood by her right while she sang. He even reprimanded one of the crew members for trying to leave, while Stockard left on one of the boats, shoving another crew member out of the way to get a spot it, sharing it with Angelica, Victoria, Ernest, and his sister, and leaving Molly and Gaston to die. When the ship sank, Gaston survived, while Molly died with her band.
After the Titanic incident, William sent Gaston to work for Rhoda and he became her butler, driver, cook, and babysitter for Rob and Barbara.

- Gaston's survival is thanks to him telling an officer that he is a yachtsman. This was based on how Arthur Godfrey Peuchen survived by telling Charles Herbert Lightoller that he can help row Lifeboat 6.
