George Barker was a storekeeper on the Titanic, for only her trip to Southampton.

George Barker’s was given life in around 1856, in Ardlee, County Mayo, Ireland. Further information on his background has yet to be found.
Titanic[]
George Barker was in his fifties when he worked for the White Star Line. He had been on the Olympic just before, when he was given the postion as storekeeper for the Engineering Crew of the RMS Titanic in Belefast, where his name was put down on the muster list on March 29, 1912.
Titanic had just been approved seaworthy from her trials and was headed to England on the 4th of April, from where she would commence her Maiden Voyage, in Southampton. George left the ship as soon as they had docked there.
What Mr. Barker did after that, is left untold.
