"Daddy! Get into the boat!"
The family showed up during the loading of Collapsible D, while 2nd Officer Lightoller struggled to load the lifeboat, forcing the girls to release the clutches of their father and board the lifeboat.

"It's a goodbye for a little while, only for a little while"
Not wanting to be separated from their father, the girls cry. The father calmed them down, saying; "You hold Mommy's hand and be a good little girl" and tell that this was goodbye for a little while, because there would be other lifeboats for the fathers .
Rose DeWitt Bukater noticed this, making her even more convinced to stay on the ship with Jack Dawson. While Collapsible D was launched, the girls waved at their father in tears.
