The hospital was located on D Deck. It was close to the Second Class Dining Room and next to the galleys.

Titanic’s hospital was located on D-deck on the starboard side of the ship, The medical facilities on the Titanic were very good and the ship was equipped with a large assortment of medical instruments and medicines, Dr. O'Loughlin was the senior surgeon of the White Star Line and had previously worked on the RMS Olympic.

Medicines on board the ship included Creosote used for severe vomiting and for toothaches, Spirit of Chloroform used to relieve stomach pain and flatulence and Lead and Opium Pills useful for diarrhoea and stomach and bowel bleeding, contain one grain of opium.
