Trevor Allison

Hudson Trevor Allison was born in Canada in (7 May 1911 - 7 August 1929) as the last child of Hudson Allison and his wife Bessie Daniels. He had an older sister named Loraine. Shortly after his birth, the Allison family traveled to England for business purposes where the little boy was baptized and survived the sinking.

The Allisons had altered travel plans to sail back with old friends on the Titanic. They boarded the ship in Southampton, England, bound for Montreal, Canada. Trevor, 11 months old, stayed in a separate suite with his nanny, Alice Catherine Cleaver.

When the Titanic hit the iceberg, Alice grabbed Trevor and climbed into lifeboat 11. We're not sure why she did this, but there are stories that she was already having prominitions or an uneasy feeling that the ship would sink while the parents didn't think it would all end in tragedy right after it became apparant there had been a collision with an iceberg. It is unclear if his father Hudson Allison and his mother Bessie Daniels knew Alice had taken little Trevor off the ship. Ultimately, Trevor was the sole survivor of the Allison family as both his parents and his sister perished on the night of April 14-15, 1912 and the missing of their baby is probably the reason they ran out of time to at least get mother and daughter Loraine off the ship in a lifeboat, because they searched everywhere for Trevor.

After the sinking, Trevor was taken to Canada where he was raised by his paternal uncle George Richey Barber Allison and his wife Lillian Adelaide Workman. Trevor died in 1929 at the age of 18 in Maine, USA after food poisoning and was buried next to his father in Chesterville, Ontario, Canada.
