It'll be over soon... it all be over soon...

—Mother at stern to her son

Mother at Stern is a minor character in the 1997 film Titanic. It is assumed that she was traveling with her son onboard the Titanic as a Third Class passengers. She was portrayed by Rebecca Klingler.

She only appeared in the ship's final moments on April 15, when Rose and Jack ran towards the stern, with Rose staring at her as she was calming her young son by holding him tightly to her chest, ensuring him that it will all be over soon, as she looked on frightfully and teary-eyed.

She and her son were not seen again after that, so it's assumed that they fell to their deaths when the Titanic began to tilt higher, broke in two, after which the stern was standing up at 90 degrees.
