On May 15, 1934, The RMS Olympic had collided with one of the Nantucket Lightship LV-117. The Nantucket Lightship sank. 7 out of 11 crewman onboard were killed and 4 people survived.

Nantucket Lightship LV-117 was signaling ships in the fog. The light wasn't on before it spotted the Olympic ramming into the ship. The ship split into 2 and was scattered on the port and starboard of the RMS Olympic.
RMS Olympic[]
RMS Olympic didn't see the ship up ahead. The captain of the RMS Olympic stated that the light of the Nantucket Lightship wasn't turned on before it saw the ship.
