Ophelia Jack is a fictional character in the 1996 Miniseries Titanic. She was the eldest daughter of Black Billy Jack and Clarinda Jack. She traveled on the Titanic with her family and Aase Ludvigsen. She was portrayed by Katherine Isabelle.

Role in the film[]

She first appeared on the day of departure in Southampton, she and her family were directed by Simon Doonan to their cabin.

During the third class party, she danced with her younger siblings, watched by her father and Jamie Perse.

"Are there really angels, mother?"

Before going back to sleep, her mother combed her hair. She asked to her mother if the angel was really there, her mother replied that God and the angels are always watching over us all to keep them all safe. After her mother finished combing her hair, she and Clarinda got ready for bed. She said a sweet dream to Aase.

When the Titanic started to sink, she, Clarinda, her three younger siblings and Jamie Perse found Aase who was injured, Clarinda told Ophelia to take her siblings to the Third Class General Room while Clarinda cleaned Aase's wounds.

"I'll be back, to get you through...don't worry"

When Jamie arrived, he told the entire Jack's family to come with him to the boat deck. But when they reached the main gate of the third class, only Jamie and Aase were allowed out. Jamie promised her and her family that he would come back to get them out.

"There must be million"

Unaware that Jamie was already in the lifeboat, her father and the Irish Bunkmate were forced to break down the gate and rushed to the boat deck. When they arrived, the entire lifeboat had been launched. They were all shocked and desperate, she brought her younger siblings to sit on one of the benches. Her younger brother, Perry Jack, pointed up at the sky, saying that the sky was full of stars. Ophelia answered; "There must be million". Her mother and father comforted them and recited the Lord's prayer. The six of them died together.
