The Praying Man is a minor character in the 1997 film Titanic. He is a fictional third-class passenger played by actor Barry Dennen.
Role in the film[]
The Praying Man walked to the Poop deck
He first appeared during the Titanic's final moments, where the passengers started running towards the stern. He looked terrified while praying for his safety as he slowly climbed the stairs to the poop deck, while Jack Dawson who was behind him told him to hurry up.
He was seen briefly beside Jack and Rose DeWitt Bukater when the Titanic tilted nearly 45 degrees, before later falling to his death.
