Deep in the stern of the Olympic-class was a large number of refrigerated holds, utilized primarily to store perishable items. In these holds, was a wide assortment of items, including eggs, meats, ice, ice cream, wines and spirits, champagne, vegetables, mutton, fruit, flowers, milk, butter, and more. The refrigeration complex spanned both G Deck and the Orlop Deck. The holds on G Deck were utilized primarily for storing items expected to be used during the voyage, while the Orlop Deck contained a large Refrigerated Cargo Hold for any items in transit that required refrigeration.
Wreck[]
Considering that the refrigerated storages rooms where all located within the stern as the ship sank, this entire complex received implosion damage after the stern disappeared beneath the surface.
