Roblox Titanic: Reimagined is a two-part webseries released on YouTube in March and April of 2023. It was pieced together as a whole movie in May. It features the voyage and the sinking of the ship from several perspectives, most notably the Burnes plotline, however three other plotlines also exist. Also included are the Californian and the Carpathia. It was directed by the Roblox user CruzApple, mainly known as MrApple. Since the film was made on a budget of $0, there were no producers. While MrApple wrote most of the film, four of his actors - J2ninecat, FunBricks1, Ryanmoose15 and ToyFox509012 co-wrote some of the scenes.
Plot[]
Submarine[]
Jason and Mitch are inspecting the wreck of the Titanic. Mitch films as Jason tells the story.
Elijah, Hazel, Louis Burnes and Lynette Cruz[]
Elijah (Glenn) Burnes is fleeing Britain on the RMS Titanic in Second Class after a school fire at Fordwich High that left two kids dead on October 3, 1907. His ex-wife, Hazel, and son, Louis, are also on board in Third Class, roomates with Lynette Cruz, a former student of Elijah. Elijah meets Nathan and William aboard, an down in Third Class, Lynette meets the dancer and Haze meets Henry; whom says that she cannot be drinking alcohol as she is a woman. He is then injured when she throws a bottle of wine at him and it smashes in his face. First Lynette, and then Hazel discover Glenn is aboard, and still isn't letting go of the past; troubled by the school fire. As this happens, Louis sneaks off and explores the ship; getting lost. Haze reprimands him.
Raymond, Lucile and Felix Springer, Vanessa Hodgeboom and Emil Taussig[]
Raymond and Lucile Springer bring their son Felix and their maid Vanessa into a First Class Suite on C Deck. Raymond brings a valuable statue which he will give to Felix as inheritance. In the First Class Dining Room on the evening of the 14th, they meet Bohemian-Jewish passenger and president of the West Disinfecting Company, Emil Taussig.
Maxine and Sawney Lopez[]
Maxine Lopez sneaks into the Third Class of the Titanic to find her long-lost autistic brother Sawney, who was thrown out of the house by their mother. She hides away in an offshute of the working corridor, but is found by Quartermaster George Rowe after being informed by passenger Karen O'Ryan. She is locked up in an office and awaits punishment.
The ship's crew[]
Chief Engineer Joseph Bell starts the engines as Frederick Barrett commands the stokers in Boiler Room 6. Captain Smith and William Murdoch take the ship to sea, and later the Captain and Bruce Ismay discuss the ship's speed in the reception room as Jack Phillips, the ship's wireless operator, is annoyed by the Californian's wireless operator, Cyril Evans' signal being so loud in his ears. He tells him to shut up. On the night of the 14th, the Captain retires to his room, leaving the bridge in charge of Second Officer Lightoller. Later, Murdoch is put in charge.
Sinking[]
Haze and Elijah discuss things on the forward well deck. Above them, lookouts Frederick Fleet and Reginald Lee spot an iceberg in front of the ship. They phone the bridge, alerting Sixth Officer James P. Moody, who in turn alerts Murdoch. Quartermaster Hitchins turns the wheel in the wheelhouse, but the ship still strikes the iceberg, ripping open six compartments and flooding the boiler rooms. Elijah and Haze see the iceberg; and they remember Louis and Lynette are still at the bottom of the ship. Meanwhile, the ship's designer, Thomas Andrews, arrives at the bridge and tells Captain Smith, Bruce Ismay, Murdoch, Lightoller and Moody that the ship can not stay afloat. Stewards wake the Third Class passengers and tell them to put on their lifebelts.
Haze and Elijah look for Louis and Lynette. They find the latter; but Louis gets lost whilst trying to get to the muster station. A large crowd blocks Louis and Haze from getting to eachother, and as Louis tries to find a detour to get over to them, he is accidentally pushed down the stairs by Karen O'Ryan, and then trampled by the crowd, killing him. Water starts flooding Henry's cabin. Meanwhile, as the steam vents outside, Lightoller asks the Captain if the women and children should be loaded into the boats, the Captain orders him to. Down on C Deck, Vanessa alerts Lucile, Raymond and Felix that they need to go up on the deck with lifejackets and warm clothing. In the Grand Staircase, Coloradan first class passenger Maggie Brown is bored waiting to be allowed on deck. Lucile tells Vanessa to get the tea ready for them in their cabin when they return.
On the Boat Deck, Lifeboat 7 is loaded by Officer Murdoch. Nearby, ship's bandmaster Wallace Hartley begins to play music, and Jack Phillips alerts the Captain that the Carpathia is on its way. Down in Third Class, Elijah, Lynette and Haze finally get to where Louis was, but he is dead already, with water coming into the corridor. Back at Lifeboat 7, Emil Taussig's wife, Ruth, is placed into a lifeboat. Emil tries to board, and asks Murdoch to let him aboard, but is pushed back, frightening him. He then tries to get onto the lifeboat from A Deck, but doesn't make it down in time to get aboard. There is a problem with the ropes as it lowers, one side lowers too fast. It is evened out.
Back down in Third Class, Elijah says that they need to go, but the door at the end of the hallway bursts open, flying towards them. They dodge it, but then have to run away from a massive wall of water flooding into the hallway. A watertight door at the end of the corridor shuts before they can make it through, but they manage to escape up a staircase; however it is blocked by a bostwick gate. A steward manages to find them and attempts to unlock the gate, but flees when the water rises too high. Lynette, Elijah and Hazel break the gate by themselves, swimming underwater and escaping. On the Boat Deck, Raymond, Lucile, Felix and Emil make it to Lifeboat 5. Lucile is scared by seeing the water between the gap of the ship and the lifeboat, and then a rocket exploding overhead. Meanwhile, as Third Class fills up with water, the water reaches the room Maxine is locked in. Sawney arrives, to the shock of Maxine. She asks him to help her out, but he gives the example of 'eye for an eye' because she did not help him when their mother kicked him out of the house, so he leaves her in the room to drown. Sawney and Henry then end up at a bostwick gate blocked by stewards as Titanic's bow nears the water as another firework launches.
Lucile is scared by the rockets and water; and refuses to go into the Lifeboat. Raymond is upset, because he believes the ship unsinkable. Vanessa catches up with the Springers. Elijah, Haze and Lynette reach the Boat Deck at the stern, and split up - Lynette and Haze going on the port side and Elijah going on the starboard side. On the port side, a panic happens at Lifeboat 14, and a mob tries to rush the boat. Lightoller brandishes his gun to get them to stop, and tries to get a lady into the boat, however she falls between the lifeboat and the ship. Emil and Lightoller watch in horror. On the starboard side, Lifeboat 15 starts lowering on top of Lifeboat 13; and Frederick Barrett, inside 13, cuts the ropes to free them. As Karen looks for a lifeboat, she is accidentally pushed off the ship by a priest. Haze and Lynette find a lifejacket, Lynette makes Haze wear it. The forecastle and forward well deck submerge as the Reception Room fills with water. In Lifeboat 6, Maggie Brown tries to get the rowers to turn back as the Captain calls them through his megaphone to load the boat with more people, but the sailor in the boat refuses. Phillips continues sending an S.O.S. in the Marconi Room.
As Elijah moves forward, he bumps into Raymond, whom asks for help to get his statue. They reach C Deck, but water has flooded the corridor. Water starts pouring in from above, and Felix arrives. Water blasts into the corridor, knocking a door onto Felix. Elijah and Raymond pull it off, and they abandon the statue. Raymond then gets Felix and Lucile into Lifeboat 4 with many of the other First Class women, and Vanessa stays with him. On the port side of the ship, Collapsible C fills with mostly third class passengers. As everyone else has left the area, Elijah and Bruce Ismay get into the boat, Murdoch lowering them away. As Collapsible A is thrown from the roof, Henry tries to get aboard. Murdoch shoots him and another man, then himself.
Captain Smith enters the wheelhouse as he sees the water approaching the Boat Deck; and Wallace Hartley calls to play the hymn "Nearer, My God, To Thee" as the water approaches the deck. Thomas Andrews leans against the fireplace in the First Class Smoking Room. The Boat Deck begins to flood, as Wilde tries to get Collapsible A freed. The lifeboat is swamped as the Boat Deck floods and everyone runs to the stern, and the boat floats free. The windows in the wheelhouse break, and it fills with water, killing Captain Smith. The ship's final plunge begins as everyone runs aft. Haze and Lynette arrive at the stern of the Boat Deck, seeing the front of the ship submerged. The dancer is nearly pulled into a window. Haze and Lynette jump down to A Deck, and Lynette discovers Haze gave her lifejacket away to someone else. Emil Taussig flees for the stairs as the Grand Staircase begins flooding. Above him, the glass dome collapses, submerging the room. Moments later, the funnel collapses, crushing the dancer, William, and swamping the two collapsibles.
The ship rises out of the water higher and everything not bolted down begins to slide forwards. Crowds run to the Poop Deck, some jumping overboard. Among them are Haze, Lynette, Raymond and the Steward. Raymond is dragged down from the capstan he is holding onto and is killed, and water takes over the ship. Elijah watches the second funnel ignite into a ball of sparks and rip itself from the ship. As people begin to fall down the steep slope of the ship, Vanessa loses grip and falls too. At 2:17AM, Herbert Jupe tries to keep the electricity on, but an explosion knocks him away and the power of the ship goes out. Cracks in the ship appear as it tears itself into two pieces, the bow sinking and the stern smacking down. The bow drags the stern down again, and the Steward loses grip. He grabs Lynette's foot and tries to pull her down with him or use her to pull himself up, but as he did not help them earlier, she kicks him down. As she climbs over the rail, her arm gets stuck. Haze tries to free her, but the ship sinks too fast and submerges at 2:20AM.
Post-Sinking[]
Lynette never emerges, but Haze manages to seek refuge on a deck chair before being rescued by a lifeboat. Lucile is upset that Raymond went back for his statue. Elijah and Haze reunite on Carpathia at sunrise, he explains that if you keep worrying about the past; it will blind your future decisions.
Similarities to 1997[]
- Raymond's Statue is very similar to the Heart of the Ocean.
- Vanessa is obviously inspired by Trudy, right down to her death; and Raymond and Lucile are inspired by Cal and Rose.
- Actor FunBricks1, whom wrote in and played Steward Michael wrote him to mimic the Stairwell Steward. His introductory scene where he tries to save Elijah, Lynette and Hazel is a direct mimic of when the Stairwell Steward tries to save Jack and Rose in James Cameron's film.
- When Maxine and Louis are on the bow; it is a parody of the "King of the World" scene.
- An old couple lies in bed like Isidor and Ida Straus in the movie.
- Elijah, Lynette and Hazel running away from the water in the corridor mimics when Jack and Rose did the same thing.
- Thomas Andrews is inside the Smoking Room and Captain Smith is inside the wheelhouse during the final plunge, much like Cameron's version.
- Murdoch shooting two men then himself is directly copied from 1997. He was seen by Charles Herbert Lightoller getting dragged and Archibald Gracie IV said that he watched as Murdoch and Henry Tingle Wilde getting washed off with a dozen others.
Historical Innacuracies[]
Missing important characters[]
- Herbert Pitman
- Joseph Boxhall (possibly seen on Bridge during collision)
- Harold Lowe
- Harold Bride
- John Jacob Astor IV
- Madeleine Astor
- Mary Taussig
- Millie Taussig
- Tillie Taussig
Factual errors[]
- The port list does not appear in this film.
- The ship breaks into two pieces as oppose to the four or five in real life.
Set innaccuracies[]
- There is no clock in the Grand Staircase and the tiles are innacurate.
- There was no button to close the watertight doors, instead a lever in the wheelhouse.
Character errors[]
- Quartermaster Robert Hitchens is still seen on the ship after Lifeboat 6 leaves; a different sailor is aboard boat 6.
- Ruth Taussig did not leave aboard Lifeboat 7, she left aboard Lifeboat 8.
- Captain Smith did not die in the wheelhouse and Thomas Andrews did not die in the First Class Smoking Room. Andrews was last seen near Collapsible A and Captain Smith in the water. The myths of the wheelhouse and Smoking Room are taken from James Cameron's film.
- Murdoch didn't shoot himself. He was last seen alive by Second Officer Charles Lightoller. It's believed that Wilde was the suicidal officer.
- Elin Hakkarainen dies falling off the ship in this version.

Trivia[]
- All of Thomas Andrews, Frederick Fleet and Reginald Lee's scenes were animated. They are essentially played by CGI.
- Lynette's last name is MrApple's first name in real life.
- FunBricks1 wrote the "gate" scene.
- There are four deleted scenes
- Maxine, Haze, and Louis on the Poop Deck
- Lifeboat 5 lowering (reshot)
- A different concept of the watertight door scene involving a new character, Grigori Krenkarian
- Funnel collapse (reshot, animated)
- Lynette was supposed to have a brother, either named Lewis or Carter. This was then moved to Louis' brother, and then removed entirely due to lack of actors.
- Emil Taussig and the Steward Michael are both played by fandom user FunBricks1. He also played several extras.
- During production, FunBricks1 accidentally messed up some things including one animated scene that set back the film a few minutes. He also allegedly "had a crush" on Lynette.
- Henry's actor made a video on what the movie would be like with voicelines.
