Rosalie Bidois (May 10th, 1865 - September 24th, 1938) was a First Class passenger of the Titanic. She served as a personal maid to Madeleine Talmadge Force Astor. She escaped the sinking in Lifeboat 4.

On board the Titanic[]

She accompanied Mrs. Astor and Colonel John Jacob Astor on their honeymoon to Europe and was one of three servants traveling in the party, the others being Mr. Astor's manservant Victor Robbins and Caroline Endres, a nurse charged with looking after the pregnant Mrs. Astor's wellbeing. The entire party boarded Titanic at Cherbourg as First Class passengers (ticket number 17757 which cost £247, 10s, 6d).

Rosalie was staying in Cabin C-112.

Miss Bidois accompanied Mrs. Astor and Caroline Endres in Lifeboat 4 and was saved; Mr. Astor and Victor Robbins were among the lost.

In Popular Culture[]

As a servant to the wife of the wealthiest and well known on the Titanic, Rosalie Bidois appears at least three times in film portrayals.
