Titanic Tour- "E" Deck

Walkthrough on E-Deck in the demo of 'Honor & Glory'

E Deck, known as the Upper Deck, is the 6th deck from the bottom, laying 9 meters above the waterline.

The flooding of E-deck started around 12:30 A.M, being one of the earlier decks to flood, but only in the forward bow section. After 1:00 A.M, the water reached Scotland Road. Scotland Road is the nickname for the corridor that ran along 2/3s of the midsection of the ship and connected the 3rd class sections located in the bow and stern areas of the ship. Many crews cabins, mainly concentrated in the Scotland Road, are positioned at a long road without any watertight doors at the port side of the ship. It's also wider than the usual gangways, uninterrupted and it let much water through during the sinking, causing Titanic to list 2 degrees to the port side 10 minutes later.

Most of the Watertight Bulkheads ended at this deck, although a few even reached D Deck.
