Lynskey in 2023
Thomas "Tom" Lynskey Jr. is the former director of the video game Titanic: Honor and Glory. He is a filmmaker, video game producer, historian and archaeologist[1] and dabbles in art, architecture and linguistics.[2] He as also done work for the US Navy, Army, Library of Congress, various parks and municipalities, and the Super Bowl.[3]
As director of Titanic: Honor and Glory, he successfully saw the project through two public fundraising campaigns, the last of which managed to reach almost 25% of its goal, and introduced many new products to the online store. He also successfully dealt with complaints about undelivered 3D-printed Titanic models purchased from the store by introducing a new range of LEGO models which could be purchased whilst waiting for the 3D-printed ships to arrive.
In the months leading up to his departure from Honor and Glory, the project encountered many unspecified legal issues. Some speculated that Tom was the cause of the issues, though the remaining team refused to clarify if this was the case, though dropping some hints that he may have been the cause on the Honor and Glory Reddit page.
In the time since his departure, Tom has been very active on his Part Time Explorer YouTube channel, uploading videos previously owned by the project, and also his own time-lapse videos of himself building Lego.
He has a wife, Emma, and a son, Tommy.
