The Titanic Drunk was a recurring extra from the 1997 Film, like the man being combed for lice. He was portrayed by Graham Mackintosh.
He boarded at Southampton with his wife, teenage daughter, teenage son, child son and baby daughter. They were first seen when Jack and Fabrizio boarded the ship, unlocking their stateroom so they could enter it. After quickly getting settled the family returned to the deck to wave goodbye to the city, before going back down inside the ship for Lunch.
He was among the dancers during the party in the Third Class Open Space, seriously drunk, hence his name. He hung out with all his friends there. He also watched Tommy Ryan arm-wrestle with a fellow passenger.
Later, when the ship was sinking, he appeared in the scene of the big "Shut Up!" Jack & Rose gave to the Scotland Road Steward. The Titanic drunk was guiding his family, trying to get them to stay together. Jack and Rose pushed past along with the Man being Combed for Lice. This scene was deleted and got known as the "Irish hospitality" deleted scene. After following Jack & Rose past Steward 2, he assembled with his family on deck, where the mother and daughter went forward and he and his sons went aft. However, his sons dissapeared along the way, and he attempted to find them.
He ended up at the Grand Staircase. He came up from A Deck and was planning to go to the Boat Deck through the vestibule when suddenly, a First Class passenger in the Grand Staircase pulled his gun out and started shooting at Jack & Rose, who quickly ran down the stairwell. The Titanic drunk and others watched it in horror. When Benjamin Guggenheim declined a life vest and asked a brandy instead, the Titanic drunk was on A Deck level again, returning upstairs. He may have been looking for his family. He saw the musicians starting to play Nearer My God To Thee.
Somehow, he got onto a Lifeboat, presumably Collapsible A or Collapsible B, and survived the sinking, and was seen on Carpathia yet again drinking alcohol. He was one of the extra's who survived the sinking in the movie but were nevertheless shown in the dream scene.
